We've been seeing some people leaving lately, to join up with other guilds, with whom they've been doing instancing and such.

I just want to clarify what this guild is about, so there are no misunderstandings.

Family First was started because my wife and I like to play WOW. We like to play WOW when we have the time and feel like doing so. That means, we've had a hard time finding a guild to be in, due to the fact that most guilds out there expects certain things from its members. You generally have to take part in raiding, instancing or PVP, or else you're not welcome.

So we decided to start our own guild, just for the fun of it.

A guild where we can feel at home.
A guild where we can belong.
A guild where we can play when we want and how we want.

That guild is Family First.

We needed signatures in order for the guild to start and thus we started out with members, besides ourselves. It was not our intent to share this guild with other, but pretty quickly we realized that some of the people that were kind and signed the charter for us actually were amazing people. Fun people. people who actually play like we do.

So we decided to share this guild with other people and it is great. I love logging into the game, to see the guild chat scroll with the chatter of you people. I love this guild for what it is and for the members that are in it.

You're all great people and I really hope you stick around.

Just don't expect this guild to suddenly turn into a raiding, PVP or Instance guild.

As announced earlier, I would love to do instances and I do quite a bit of battlegrounds. When I feel like it.

As soon as we're enough people to do some instances, I'd LOVE for us to do that. When we feel like it. You're all welcome to do whatever you want, anytime you want. I dont need to tell you that

I just want you all to feel at home here. Feel you are free to do what you want, when you want.

Ah well, enough rambling from me.

Bottom line is, this guild is CASUAL. We're the definition of CASUAL.

It's not a bad thing. It does not mean we wont do things. What it DOES mean, don't EXPECT us to do things. Just kick back and have fun. God knows, I do
